Survive With You is a collaboration about the Hunger Games actually. John and I had a really fun time writing this duet together. The Catching Fire soundtrack had just came out and he was really inspired by that and I was really inspired to write about this great memory I have admitting to my boyfriend that in the event of the apocalypse, I wouldn’t even try to get through it because of my fear of Hollywood horror and he told me that isn’t acceptable and very seriously I said fine… I’ll try to survive for you. It was a very sentimental moment. So John and I were able to create this awesome collaborative concept and write about Katniss and Peta.
